The Position

We’re seeking a talented and driven User Researcher to work alongside the Product and Design teams at Chime, where we are working hard to better the financial lives of our customers. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing research studies that inform user-centered design and product roadmaps as you uncover key insights that solve complex design and product pain points.

  • Support Chime’s usability research in planning and carrying out remote, in-office, and on-site usability studies, conducting one-on-one interviews, and writing online surveys.
  • Design and implement outreach programs to contact user research candidates
  • Recruiting study participants with carefully crafted online screeners
  • Managing and updating multiple databases of participants
  • Building and growing our knowledge of users through the formulation of archetypes and demographic analysis.
  • Documenting and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative research findings in a compelling manner
  • Juggling multiple projects while managing timelines and expectations?

About You

  • Knowledgeable about research participant recruitment practices and a strong attention to detail
  • Experience developing online surveys, setting up usability studies, moderating research sessions and/or focus groups, and conducting data analysis with a focus on improving digital products
  • Curious by nature and hold deep fascination for why people do what they do
  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
  • Familiarity with web and mobile technologies?
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Drive tools and various survey creation tools
  • Experience in market and competitive research
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, and using Jira and Confluence
